Use up old cardboard and make your own recycled heart garland this Valentines day. This is the perfect simple afternoon craft that will bring cheer to your mantlepiece or shelves and will use up any old cardboard you have!
You will need:
Old thin cardboard
Heart punch
Glue
Thin twine
Spray paint
Using the heart punch cut your shapes out of your cardboard, you will need to double up on the amount of hearts you want on your garland as you’ll be glueing them back to back.
Spray paint your cardboard in your desired colours, if you don’t have spray paints you could use posca pens to decorate or paint with acrylics or gouache paints (watercolours won’t show up as well on brown card).
Finally glue your hearts back with the thin twine running through them to create your hanging heart shaped garland.
