SURFACE DESIGN COMMISSION

Commissioned by Lisa Comfort to illustrate and design two fabric ranges, Becki created two patterns which went on to be produced in four colour ways, all printed on viscose fabric. Working closely with Lisa, the founder of Lisa Comfort Home and Sew Over It, Becki was able to create designs with illustration which would appeal to a huge variety of customers and projects. Becki worked on the surface design commission from conceptualisation and initial mood boards right through to sending artwork to printers and now the British wildflowers design and ice cream sprinkle inspired fabric has been used by Lisa Comfort customers all around the world for a plethora of creative projects. Lisa’s brand is synonymous with bright colours, inspiring patterns and interesting textures and champions independent artisan designers and makers making it the perfect fit for Becki.
